Loom

Loom

For about a century now LOOM invented as a replacement of rattan cane has been used in the furniture industry, and specially in woven seating.

What is properly amazing is that LOOM is produced …. From ordinary paper.

The loom threads are manufactured industrially by mechanically twisting craft paper, either around a galvanized metal wire or without wire; it is remarkably strong and hard wearing (a much better material than the conventional natural ones). It has a very pleasant look and a smooth feel.

For outdoor use we protect with Acrylic Polyurethane.
